Scheduling
Enabling Scheduling
Turn on scheduling for your organization in one click - this provisions the scheduling backend and unlocks meeting types, booking pages, and the booking card in chat.
Scheduling lets your customers book a call or meeting with your team without leaving your help center or chat widget. Everything is managed from the Scheduling section in the admin.
Turning it on
- Go to Scheduling in the left nav.
- Click the Enable toggle.
- Convot provisions the scheduling backend (this takes a few seconds). Once complete, the full scheduling UI appears: Bookings, Meeting types, and Settings tabs.
Scheduling is off by default. Enabling it doesn’t expose anything to customers yet - you still need to create a meeting type and share the booking URL.
What enabling unlocks
Once scheduling is on, you can:
- Create meeting types (30-minute call, 60-minute demo, etc.).
- Set availability hours for your team.
- Connect Google Calendar to block busy times and generate Google Meet links.
- Share a public booking page with customers.
- Send a booking card from inside a chat conversation.
- Show a Book section in the widget.
Disabling scheduling
Toggle the Enable switch off at any time. This stops new bookings from being made but doesn’t delete your existing meeting types or booking history. You can re-enable later and everything is still there.
Next steps
- Creating meeting types - define what customers can book.
- Setting availability - control when you’re bookable.
- The public booking page - share your booking link.
