Updated June 11, 2026
Convot can send an automatic email reminder to the customer before their booking. Reminders are configured per meeting type.
Enabling reminders
- Go to Scheduling → Meeting types tab.
- Open the meeting type you want to configure.
- Toggle on Send reminder.
- Pick the timing from the dropdown:
- 15 minutes before
- 30 minutes before
- 1 hour before
- 2 hours before
- 1 day before
- Save.
💡
Reminders are sent to the attendee’s email - the address they entered when booking. The reminder includes the meeting details, the location (Google Meet link if applicable), and the reschedule and cancel links.
What the reminder contains
The reminder email includes:
- Meeting type name and duration.
- Date and time in the attendee’s timezone.
- Location (Google Meet link, phone number, or as configured).
- Links to reschedule or cancel the booking.
Disabling reminders
Toggle Send reminder off on the meeting type. No reminders will be sent for future bookings of that type. Reminders already queued for existing bookings are not cancelled.
