What is Convot?

Convot is an all-in-one customer support and engagement platform built specifically for Shopify app developers. An embeddable widget for real-time conversations with the merchants using your app. Your whole team works from one shared inbox across every app you ship, with private notes, @mentions, assignments, tags, saved views, reminders, and live translation so you can talk to customers in their language.

AI support agent

An AI agent that answers common questions automatically, trained on sources you curate - your knowledge base, Q&A snippets, web pages, and uploaded files. It’s built to be trustworthy:

  • Abstain gate - it stays quiet when it isn’t confident instead of guessing.
  • Suggest mode first - it drafts replies for your agents to approve, so you build trust before letting it reply on its own.
  • Cross-feature awareness - it knows about your changelog, roadmap, and scheduling, so it can point a customer to a shipped update or a planned feature, or offer to book a call, instead of just deflecting.

Help center

Searchable documentation (like the page you’re reading) on your own domain or a free convot.help subdomain, in up to 12 languages, with article feedback (“Was this helpful?”). Your AI agent draws on the same articles, so writing docs improves your bot too.

Changelog

Announce product updates with a public changelog page, category filters, and an RSS feed - and optionally show it right inside the widget so customers see what’s new.

Roadmap

A public board where customers suggest features, vote, and comment, with your own custom statuses. It closes the loop on requests and feeds directly into what your AI agent and changelog can talk about.

Status page

Communicate incidents and uptime to your customers with status components and timestamped incident updates.

Scheduling

Let customers book a call with your team - from the widget, a branded public booking page, or a “book a time” card dropped straight into a chat. Supports meeting types, shared or round-robin availability, Google Meet / Zoom / phone, automatic reminders, and reschedule/cancel links.

Email channel

Turn email into part of the same inbox. Customers can email you and it lands alongside chat, with spam filtering, quoted thread history, and an optional custom email domain.

Analytics and metrics

Understand how support is going with reporting across the platform:

  • Support metrics - response times, conversation volume, resolution, and an agent heatmap.
