Revenue Drill-ins and Segment Pages

Click any KPI card on the revenue dashboard to open a full detail page with a trend chart, fee waterfall, plans breakdown, and per-app table.

Updated June 11, 2026

The revenue overview is the starting point, but the real insight is one click away. Every KPI card and every merchant-count number on the dashboard opens a dedicated detail page.

ℹ️

These pages require the Shopify Partner API to be connected. See Connecting the Shopify Partner API.

Metric detail pages

Click any KPI card (MRR, Net Payout, Total Revenue, Subscription, Usage, One-time, ARPU, LTV) to open the corresponding detail page.

The route follows the pattern /revenue/<metric> - for example, /revenue/mrr or /revenue/net-payout.

Each detail page shows:

Trend chart

A time-series line chart for the selected metric across the current date range. Use the range buttons (7d, 30d, 90d, 12m) to zoom in or out. The chart reuses the same filters as the overview.

Fee waterfall (revenue metrics only)

For gross revenue metrics (Total Revenue, MRR, Subscription, Usage, One-time), a fee waterfall chart breaks down how the gross amount becomes your net payout:

  • Gross revenue - the amount Shopify charged merchants.
  • Shopify partner fee - Shopify’s revenue-share commission (typically 20% for most plans, 15% after $1M).
  • Net payout - your actual take-home after the fee.

The waterfall makes it easy to see how much you keep from each revenue type.

Plans breakdown

A table and bar chart showing how revenue and merchants are distributed across your pricing plans. Each row shows:

  • Plan name.
  • Number of merchants on that plan.
  • MRR contribution from that plan.
  • Percentage share of total MRR.

This is useful for understanding which tier drives the most revenue versus the most volume.

Per-app breakdown

If you have multiple Shopify apps connected, a table at the bottom shows revenue split by app. Click an app row to filter the entire page to that app.

Merchant table

A scrollable, searchable list of individual merchants contributing to that metric. Click any row to open the merchant detail drawer with their full subscription history and lifecycle events.

Customer segment pages

The revenue overview shows four merchant-count cards: Active, New Installs, Uninstalls, and Churned. Clicking any of those counts opens the corresponding segment page at /revenue/customers/<segment>.

💡
Segment What it shows
Active Merchants with an active or trialing subscription right now
Installed Merchants who installed in the selected period (not all convert to paid)
Uninstalled Merchants who uninstalled in the selected period
Churned Subscriptions that were canceled or uninstalled in the selected period

Each segment page includes:

  • A trend line chart showing the daily count for that segment over the selected range.
  • A paginated, searchable merchant table filtered to that segment.
  • Click any merchant row to open the detail drawer.

Back to overview

Every detail and segment page has a ← Overview back link at the top. Convot preserves your scroll position on the overview, so returning from a drill-in lands you where you clicked rather than at the top of the page.
