Replying on the go

Read conversations, send replies, leave private notes, and start new chats from your phone.

Updated June 14, 2026

Everything you do most often in the inbox - reading a thread, sending a reply, looping in a teammate - works the same on your phone as it does on the web.

ℹ️

The Convot agent app is available now on the App Store and Google Play.

Your inbox

The app opens to your inbox. Each row shows the contact, a preview of the last message, and how long ago it came in. Tap any conversation to open the full thread.

Sending a reply

  1. Open a conversation.
  2. Type in the composer at the bottom.
  3. Tap Send.

Your reply goes out to the customer immediately and appears in the thread, exactly as it would from the desktop inbox. The customer sees it in the widget, email, or whichever channel the conversation is on.

Private notes and @mentions

Switch the composer to note mode to leave an internal note instead of replying to the customer. Notes are only visible to your team - the customer never sees them.

  • Type @ and a teammate’s name to mention them. They get a push notification.
  • Use notes to hand off context before reassigning, or to ask a colleague a quick question.
⚠️

Always double-check whether you are in reply or note mode before sending. A reply goes to the customer; a note stays internal. The composer clearly labels which mode you are in.

Starting a new conversation

Tap New conversation to reach out first:

  1. Pick or search for the contact you want to message.
  2. Type your message.
  3. Send.

This is the same agent-initiated outbound flow as on the web - useful for proactive follow-ups when you are away from your desk.

Contact context

Open a contact’s profile from inside a conversation to see who you are talking to - their details and history - so your reply has context even on a small screen.

What stays on desktop

Reports, AI agent configuration, routing rules, billing, and other settings are not in the app. It focuses on the live job of answering customers. For those, use Convot on the web.
